Join MaryLou Tingle for this two-class introduction to quilting.  You'll use your sewing machine and precut fabrics to make a throw-sized quilt top.

Suitable for all, though this class is great for beginner quilters and those wanting to learn more about quilt construction.

Saturday, May 4th, 2024 will be your first class, where you will go over quilt block construction for the Cathedral Quilt, and work with MaryLou to piece your first blocks together.

Over the course of the next month, you'll work independently at home on the rest of your blocks.

On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, you'll rejoin MaryLou to learn how to piece your quilt blocks together and talk about quilt finishing techniques.

Class fee: $35

Includes Pattern, 4 hours of hands-on instruction, and light refreshments.

Required items (not included):

Sewing Machine, thread, 40 - 2 1/2" strips of fabric, 3/4 yard fabric for centers, 3/8 yard fabric for background

**Assorted sewing notions and tools will be available to use at Carpenter Quilts during class.
